About the programme and how to contact us
BuySide is a learning programme about reaching owners of online businesses and Games, understanding their plans and discussing a possible sale. Project economics helps prepare the case. The programme organiser and recipient of applications is Indigo VC, Inc. The Roblox track focuses on sale conversations with game owners. For questions about the programme, your application or these terms, email hello@joinbuyside.com.
Who can apply
Applicants must be aged 18 or over. The business track is for people with sales experience and English at B2 level or above. The Roblox track welcomes developers, project owners and community members; sales experience is not required.
Applying does not secure a place. We review applications and practical skills before inviting participants. Provide accurate information about yourself and your experience.
Duration and cost
The preparation programme is designed to last one month. Training is free to attend. Participants are not paid during the programme. We share the schedule, meeting format and expected workload before you confirm your place.
You do not need to invest your own money in a business or game to participate. Learning examples and calculations are not an invitation to invest.
Selection throughout the programme
Selection continues after admission through practical assessments during the month. Progression depends on your results. If you do not pass an assessment, your participation may end early.
The requirements and deadline for each assignment are shared before you complete it. Contact the programme team if you have questions about an assessment or the possibility of revising your work. You may withdraw by notifying the team.
Learning assignments
The programme covers preparing an opening message to an owner, learning their plans, practising sale negotiations, handling questions and objections, discussing possible terms and agreeing a next step. Project economics supports the case. Assignments use learning cases. A learning case does not promise a live transaction; a drafted message must not be sent on behalf of BuySide or Indigo without separate approval.
Do not disclose someone else’s confidential information, present another person’s work as your own, or fabricate sources or results. Follow the requirements of each assignment and treat other participants respectfully.
Potential employment afterwards
Selected participants may be invited to discuss an Acquisition Executive role. Applying, being admitted or completing the programme does not guarantee employment, income or a completed transaction.
Any future role and its compensation are discussed separately. References to base pay and performance-based bonuses concern a possible future role, not payment for taking part in training.
Materials and brands
Use learning materials for participation in the programme. Participation does not grant rights to the BuySide or Indigo brands, or to third-party brands. Do not publish private course materials or other participants’ work without permission.
References to Roblox describe the subject of the programme. They do not, by themselves, indicate a partnership, certification or endorsement by Roblox.
